The whole thing, before anything is signed
The document is in front of you, not summarised, not a link to a preview. The places you have to fill in are marked where the sender put them, so you are not hunting for the line.
Sign
It is you signing, and that is the part that matters later
You confirm with the passkey on your own phone, unlocked by your face or your fingerprint. There is no signature image to copy, no password anybody could have used, and nothing that works without the device in your hand.
Keep
The copy is yours, and it proves itself
What comes back is a sealed PDF you keep, send on, or hand to a court. Whoever you give it to can check it themselves, without an account and without asking you or us for anything.
A signature image can be copied. A document-bound signature can be checked.

The detail
- What am I actually doing when I confirm with my face?
- Your phone is unlocking a key that only it holds, and that key signs a value built from this document's fingerprint. Your face is never sent anywhere: it stays on the device and only tells the device it is you. What travels is the signature, which is why nobody can produce one for you by knowing something about you.
- What stops somebody reusing my signature on another document?
- The thing you signed includes the fingerprint of this document and your place on it. Move it to another document and the value no longer matches, so the signature does not transfer. That is the difference between this and an image of your name, which transfers to anything.
- What if I do not have a passkey yet?
- You can still sign, and the record says plainly that this one rests on our attestation rather than on your own key. What cannot happen is the quiet downgrade: if you have a passkey and it fails, the signature is refused rather than recorded at the weaker strength without telling you.
- What do I get back?
- A sealed PDF, yours to keep, send on, print, or hand to a court. It carries the document signature and a signed record of who sent it and when Keepable accepted their send action.
- Do I have to sign the whole thing at once?
- No. The document is in front of you at full size, the places you have to fill in are marked where the sender put them, and nothing is signed until you say so. Reading it is the point; the marks are the last step.
- Can somebody I share my Keepable with sign for me?
- No. Somebody you have let in can read everything, including this, and cannot sign, agree, decline or submit anything. Those acts are bound to your own passkey, so a delegated signature would be a forged one.
The limit
Signing here does not mean you agreed to something you did not read, and it does not settle a dispute about what the document says. What it settles is whether it was you, and whether the wording moved afterwards. If you do not want to sign, you do not have to, and nothing is ever signed on your behalf.
